What is love for you?
Love is to be compassionate and love is to accept - without any
conditions. When one is in the presence of genuine love, they
enjoy the comfort of being their true self and that is liberating. I
have friends and family in my life who make me feel alive and help me
thrive, and to me that is love. Lastly, my mother and I share an
incredible bond and both of us cannot imagine life without each
other - she is the definition of love for me!

What's the closest thing to real magic for you?
Magic is in the unpredictability of life - how it flows and where it
takes you, when you look back everything seems so well-knit and
meant to be!

Magic is in creation - anything that is created without any fear
and ego is bound to become beautiful and bring people together. For
me, its in the creation of music but it can be found in anything you
are passionate about.

Whats the most useless talent you have?
I have a few - I can crack all my fingers at the same time. I can
raise both my eyebrows separately, and I always aim to roll the most
perfect spliff (might not be so useless after all!)

It’s finally here! After a couple of years of providing music to the world through mixtapes and parties, the time has come and it kind of feels like a circle is somewhat closing as our very first compilation is seeing the light of day. 

This selection features eight amazing artists whose music we admire - including some good friends, many Schleichcast Allstars and yours truly, two of our collective's members. We love how all tracks stand for themselves in their unique styles as they cover a strong variety of soundscapes, moods and subgenres, but come together like puzzle pieces representing the multi-faceted nature of downtempo.

Tim Tenckhoff - Ohne es zu wissen

Music opens up an unknown realm to people, a world that has nothing in common with the external world of the senses that surrounds them and in which they leave behind all certain feelings in order to surrender to an inexpressible desire.

It is this desire that Deep Ändi tries to express in his single "Niemegk." Music tells stories, but individual sounds can also become stories in themselves, uniting several plots in one emotion and bringing them together again at the end.

This love of sound design is taken up by the two great remixes and is processed in different ways. bawab & Sydka impressively strip back to the essentials and bring the sound of "Niemegk" to the dancefloor with the unmistakable groove for which the two are known.

Iorie picks up on the mystical elements of the original and spins the story further, which takes place on the edge of the distinction between fantasy and reality. As always, Iorie takes you on a journey that offers plenty of room for imagination through attention to detail.
