Greetings Earthling!

This is not our first flight into the great unknown. And it won’t be our last for sure. 
Darkness all around, only broken by billions of little dots of light. 
No fear, only wonder.

Guided by the ever so mysterious Danger Dave we fuelled our cosmic vehicle and set the coordinates for an unknown galaxy. 

Why? 

Because earth is (always) facing imminent attacks by space monsters and Dave is not only experienced on the drums, but also in interstellar travels and ray guns. With all the terrors earth itself holds, he started training for this expedition at a young age, thinking “If everyone is just looking what is happening around them, who will protect us from the dangers that hide behind that curtain of stars?”. 

Accompanied by old companions and accomplished cadets Gun!lla, Oilst, mf jaeger and malauke the danger will be reduced to a bare minimum. How lucky we are to have these heroes and with your support the mission will be a full success.

What is home for you?

Home is where the heart is. Most hacky phrase ever.
But this saying does indeed have its legitimacy.
For us home is not necessarily connected to one certain place or the country you were born in.
We think being home is being together with the ones you love.
The ones you feel comfortable with and the ones who love you as the person you really are.
Home is where an individual is able to feel safe and loved,
where the negative essence of necessity does not loom large.
The following is a excerpt of the line we sampled for the song "Home":
"...living in an environment that allowed us to be exactly who we are..."

What’s the closest thing to real magic for you?

First thing we both thought of was actually related to music.
TISKO create music while jamming in the studio.
Looking for sounds, sounddesigning on synths, setting up effects, cutting samples, record percussions,
finding melodies, adjusting levels and so on - just messing around.
As we both don´t have genuine musical background this is quite often real chaos.
We don´t talk, we just watch the synths, tweak knobs and try at least to split elements between us.
Sometimes, after two hours or so, we even get a little frustrated.
But there is this one magic moment where everything merges into a proper loop.
Bass and beat start grooving, sindechain pumps, highhats run smoothly, melodies harmonize, rooms and reverbs start fitting the mood, filters and compressors rub sounds into the mix and everything starts being in sympathy.
The moment of chaos transforming into a musical piece we both feel without talking is close to real magic...

What’s the most useless talent you have?

Martin is a nose-flute virtuoso.
Henning can light up a shot of sambuca in his mouth and make the flames sparkle with powdered cinnamon.

As he entered the village, the goldfish man again began to doubt if he was in the right place. But then he remembered hearing a story about how a family that lived by the Jade River had given the King of the City of Bright Moonlight the incredible gift of a Dragon Pearl, refusing any payment. In gratitude, the king presented the entire village with gifts of seeds and farming equipment that brought more prosperity than any reward of gold and jade. Maybe this was the place. Ernest Oh belongs to a place where animals can speak and trees are made of poetry. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks can take you to the skies and far beyond. Dennis Allen, RIEL, Yassine H and Yusuf Lemone are the travelers of the plane to the land of modern times.
