Frequency fiend and full time whistle blower Bruno Furlan turns up the heat and delivers an aural sweaty squeeze with ‘You Make Me Feel Hot’ - the first cuddle coming courtesy of the newly formed HUGS imprint.

Hailing from São Paulo Brazil, the charismatic production powerhouse has captured the attention of industry heavyweights over the years, landing releases on DIRTYBIRD, Lee Foss's South Of Saturn, Green Velvet's Relief Records, Amine Edge & Dance's CUFF, all whilst manning his own label, Whistle Records and maintaining a packed touring schedule at clubs and festivals across the world.

Over his illustrious career he has collaborated with Claude VonStroke on tracks like 'The Book Is On The Table', Destructo & Dances With White Girls for 'Guest List' on AMF and 'Another Planet' with DJ Glen which was considered by VonStroke himself, the "track of the year" in 2019, picking up support from Chris Lake in his Yuma Tent set at Coachella, Duke Dumont, Fisher, Mason Maynard and a tonne more.

This round Bruno comes fresh with 'You Make Me Feel Hot', a twisted menacing vocal number. The walking bassline grabs the imagination and takes things to the street, which is what HUGS is all about - interesting selections of sound waves that create the type of records for strutting down the lane.

Lots of good things come in twos, just like a double yolk, bacon and eggs, salt and pepper, peanut butter and jelly, Yin and Yang and so on.

For a hug to be carried out, two people must be willing to unite, so for our second release on HUGS it just made sense to combine two of our favorite producers to share the love.

Known for their collective releases on Sonny Fodera’s Solotoko imprint, Gorgon City’s Realm plus labels like Nervous and Waze & Odyssey’s Street Tracks, Australian producer Friendless joins forces with American Kyle Kinch to present ‘Metronome’ - a swinging pendulum of energetic house music.

Sticking to the script, the duo pay homage to the Metronome by forming the track around the audible click we all have spent many countless sessions trying to stick to. Combined with a dark and audacious hook the scene is set to move dancefloors back and forth.

Los Angeles based DJ / Producer Dominic Marceux makes his debut on the flourishing HUGS imprint with two warm and effervescent house deliveries via his 'Oooooooh EP'.

Originally drawn to house music for its authenticity, freedom of expression and positivity, music was always the forefront of Dominic’s life with roots in Disco, R&B and MoTown. His passion and curiosity lead him to learn to play the keys at 18 on a Wurlitzer 200A, kickstarting his long journey into creating vibrant, hypnotic music.

Years later, Dominic’s life would forever be changed when his Roland TR909 arrived from the Czech Republic after being inspired by a video of Jeff Mills using the rhythm composer. The soul and sound it carried touched Dominic profoundly, changing the way he would make music forever.

After spending years accumulating knowledge and experience, Dominic now lands on HUGS weaving tapestries of sound into 'Oooooooh' and 'A Love Thing', both encapsulating listeners into a sun drenched shared moment in time as a double headed house offering to be enjoyed by all!

Hailing from New Zealand with stints in London and now calling Sydney home, Van Tiel’s musical style is eclectic, blending genres such as UK garage, drum & bass, house, disco and dancehall - seeing him frequent venues and events the likes of Boiler Room (Chinese Laundry), Above, Lost Sundays & Lost Paradise.
