This song is about addiction from a first hand experience.

Ghost

This song is about having patience and appreciating the friendship you have with someone as it develops into romance. It came from a personal experience, as I realised that romance may be uncertain, but that doesn't take away from the depth of my feelings. I chose the name 'Abigail' for the song as a part of an inside joke with some friends which allowed me to write a song with anonymity and humour.

My friend Axel and I used to go for late night drives. We both suffer with insomnia, so we'd leave at midnight and see how far away we could drive to until dawn. Driving to nowhere with no purpose at the side of a friend enabled us both to share our vulnerabilities with each other. Our conversations over a pitch black night on an empty highway were very deep and I'll never forget them.
