On the first RMX series few of our favourite comrades remixed some of previously released tracks on PROLETARIJAT by Sev Dah.
A1´s Marija Bursac remixed by Nihad Tule, A2's Lisina reworked by Swedish giant Skudge while on the B side Nihad Tule created a hypnotic forward marching gem on Kozarcanka and Stanislav Tolkachev rounded up the first RMX series with his experimental mind-sex with his hands on Kozarcanka.

Matti Turunen is probably best known for his work as Morphology (with Michael Diekmann) but here he goes it alone for a new EP on Cultivated Electronics vinyl-only series,  Cultivated Electronics Ltd.

Finnish electronic maestro, Turunen's previous solo ventures without his Morphology cohort are rare.  The last time was a track for AC Records in 2013 (which was remastered earlier this year for Bandcamp), but appearances have also cropped up on Abstract Forms, Muhk and Bliq in previous years.

For his 'Radau' EP on CE Ltd he turns up the Electro-funk to the max with lush arrangements, dulcet melodies and gritty beats – there's a warmth in the machines.

Sounds which will haunt every inch of your body and won’t let you go... they will lock you among the urgency of rhythm and rapid polyphonic undulations. A bipolar relationship between highs and lows, mixing and interchanging relentlessly. Vivacious percussion converges with an ever present, round and bouncy bassline resulting in an emotionally irrational, but technically intelligent execution.

Techno veterans, Alexander Johansson & Mattias Fridell, have been releasing music together for over 20 years on many of the genre's most established and notable labels, and here we are in the year 2023 seeing their first definitive techno album on Recorded Things.

Label owners Oliver Rosemann and Sebastian Rothermel approached Alexander & Mattias with the proposition to make an album for their label, and after heartfelt conversations about it, everyone concluded that their ideas aligned, both conceptual and musical and that it was time to set a plan for it in motion. True to their nature, Alexander and Mattias provide their signature sound in album form; efficient rhythmical work-outs & stern, yet playful synth sequences that sometimes bear the mark of classic techno, and other times take unexpected directions. All in a package that presents an uncommonly energetic album, with no fillers or pauses. There is just one direction, from start to finish.
