Description: This sound is made by creating pressure behind closed lips, then pushing out a small burst of air. It is similar to the sound made by a "b" or "p" in English. There are two main variations in how this sound is made. It can be a plosive, meaning that it stops the airflow out of the lungs, then suddenly releases it, or it can be an ejective, meaning that does not use airflow from the lungs, it simply uses pressure built up in the mouth.

Description: This sound is made by stopping airflow completely by putting the tongue against the soft palate, then pulling in a burst of air. Since air is coming in to the lungs it is an ingressive sound. Air can be pulled in down the center of of the tongue, or to one or both sides of the tongue.

It is similar to the sound made by a "k" or hard "c" in English. There are two main variations to how this sound is made. It can be a plosive, meaning that it stops the airflow out of the lungs, then suddenly releases it, or it can be an ejective, meaning that does not use airflow from the lungs, it simply uses pressure built up in the mouth by raising the glottis.

It is similar to the sound made by a "t" and "s" in English. There are two main variations in how this sound is made. It can be a plosive, meaning that it stops the airflow out of the lungs, then suddenly releases it, or it can be an ejective, meaning that does not use airflow from the lungs, it simply uses pressure built up in the mouth. (This sound is very similar to the Basic T Hi-Hat)

Description: This sound is made by bringing the the tip of the tongue up to the front of the hard palate, creating suction between the two surfaces, then pulling the tongue down. It is similar to the sound made with the work tsk, as in a reprimand, "tsk tsk tsk." This is technically considered a click though it has less of a sharp sound than many other clicks.
