From somewhere that is nowhere, traumgarten presents Virgin Forest – 21 sonic renditions of unadulterated beauty emerging from their cocoons for the first time. Insulated from the dogma of mass consciousness, every track is its own unique sanctuary, yielding only to the creative urges of its maker. Our second benefit compilation harvests the dreams of globally and cosmically diverse protagonists, with otherworldly sounds spanning the spectrum, from ambient meditations and percussive tribal fantasia to bass heavy club concoctions and glitched-out grooves. An ode to parallel universes, dormant desires, and all the unexplored paths of our finite existence.

Front cover artwork and 3D printed amulets by Delphine Lejeune, a visual artist specialising in 2D and 3D printed surfaces. Her curiosities lie within designed objects, and how they critically shape our social behaviours. Mastered by Dave Miller and Jonas Körbl at Audiosculpture.

Mika Oki is a visual artist, Dj and producer born in Paris.

With a background in sculpture and electro-acoustic music, she explores the notion of intangible spaces and emotional landscapes through AV installations, music and mixes.

As a DJ, Mika Oki knows how to surprise the dance floor with a selection ranging from jungle, uk bass and gqom to dark electro, mesmerising trance and heavy EBM. By animating a wide range of voice samples, experimental sounds and electroacoustic music extracts, she plays like a sculptor with a duty to create an unsettling atmosphere.

@transluciddream loves to bend and mix genres. Their choice of music style varies significantly as they feel comfortable playing anything from IDM, DnB, Psy, and all other fast styles, as well as Breakbeat, UK Bass, House and Disco. The quality of the music and its potential to create layered worlds for its observers to immerse in fully is where Xaos puts their focus when playing. Xaos currently lives in Leipzig, where they worked from 2018 to 2022 as a booker and person in charge of the programming for mjut club. In 2020 Xaos launched their label Myriad, constantly developing their musical understanding further and manifesting and sharing their musical experiences through it. To perform and share more of their sound creations, they recently started their first live project, which operates under the name Xa✴︎s and is ever-evolving, changing and growing.

A big landmark beckons, it's @doline's debut LP, with it also being the first time a LP drops on Grid. The french producer has been making quite a name for himself, an affiliate of Teki Latex's Sound Pellegrino crew and also dropping a fantastic EP on the France's best, Paradoxe Club in 2020.

mjut hosted a residents showcase for the first time last week. due to server problems the stream was not available, but now you can re-listen to three hours of music played by Translucid, nZKT and Bunny Tsukino.

Growing up in Weimar, Xaos' interest in events of many kinds arose already very early in their life. They received musical education through learning how to play the clarinet and piano. At the age of 12 they found a special interest in electronic music. From then on they acquired their DJ skills through observing various DJs in and around Weimar. Due to their expanded musical understanding and the influence of their musically well-versed father, they started producing with Cubase at a young age. Their choice of music style varies a great deal as they feel comfortable playing anything from IDM, DnB, Psy, all other fast styles as well as Breakbeat, UK Bass, House and Disco. The quality of the music and its potential to create layered worlds for its observers to fully immerse in is where Xaos puts their focus when playing. Their love for bending and mixing genres and their ability to devote their full attention to their work often has them end up playing extensive listening sessions or prolonging the closing of evenings/events by putting their listeners in dreamlike states of timelessness. Xaos currently lives in Leipzig, where they worked from 2018 to 2022 as booker and person in charge of the programming for mjut club. In 2020 Xaos launched their own label Myriad, constantly developing their musical understanding further and manifesting and sharing their musical experiences through it. To perform and share more of their own sound creations they recently started their first live project which operates under the name Xa✴s and is ever evolving, changing and growing.

Traumburg x Dooorp x DeEtalage at Laak club in The Hague was a community driven gathering which playfully redefined a typical club night by showcasing sensory tingling local artists and body weaving frequency DJs and live acts. 
I was opening the dance room in old Traumburg manner: playing in the middle of the dance floor right in the sweet spot of the powerful  Kantarion soundsystem, trying to break the one direction habits into a more circular movement space. 

The research for the sounds in this set was intertwined with a broader exploration that has been with me all winter. Last fall, I received a request to produce a track for a compilation with a connection to space, as it was to be released in conjunction with a space research mission called scampi. So I searched for many pieces of music that contain a very specific space within themselves, since I didn't just want to look for "spacy" space sounds in the traditional sense, but rather wanted to understand the void in between. This search resulted in a collection of tracks that I wove into two exciting journeys at this event and at the opening of Säule at Berghain two weeks later. The second idea that went into the set was the search for tracks that bridge the gap between digital sound design and acoustic beats and instruments, blurring the lines between the two. One of my highest priorities in music is to feel the essence of live performance, as this is the moment when the music flows entirely on its own through the creator and is not forced to be conceived in the mind. The magick happens the moment we truly live in the now.

Known for her eclectic DJ sets, margareeta has performed at venues like Fabric in London, YuYu in Mexico, OXI, Aeden, and Else in Berlin, as well as on major radio stations such as BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM, and Mutant Radio. Currently, human margareeta is establishing herself as a producer and live artist, debuting with her live set at Miasma of the Real at ∄ club.
