The Gardens of Babylon is a growing international brand based in Amsterdam who specialise in full experience events that combine music, spirituality, and visual effects worldwide. Launching the label in 2019, they have quickly cemented their position as a quality purveyor of House music. 

Omri Guetta is a leading Israeli DJ/producer who over the last 15 years has built an amazing back catalogue. Named #1 Underground DJ in 2017 at the Tel Aviv Music Awards, his magical sound is soaked in emotion and his label Frau Blau continues to impress. Fellow Israeli, Omer Tayar, has an equally impressive career in music. The guitarist and DJ-producer has been showcasing his exquisite, diverse music selection at the leading venues in Tel Aviv and beyond. Additionally, he has been spearheading the music production department at the highly respected music school Rimon. The two recently joined forces for an endless number of upcoming releases and an exciting live project.

Opening the EP with delicate melodics and sparse percussion, ‘Ever So’ begins its journey with class and style. Building in intensity over the mid-section, the main break provides a moment’s rest before spiky synths drive the final section home hard. ‘Trip In’ is a deeper excursion. Hollow pads and percussive FX keep the groove deep and attention grabbing. Mutating main lines cause an explosion of interest midway and become delightfully musical. 

On remix duties, German DJ extraordinaire and Younion boss, Re.You takes ‘Ever So’ down a darker percussive path, focusing on the emotional side drawing out the tension with clever sound design, while Portuguese artist, Xinobi, adds his substantial studio skill to ‘Trip In’ making it even deeper and melodically rich.

After releases on Diynamic, Kí Records and Connaisseur Recordings, Blindsmyth returns home to Cosmic Society, the label which he co-founded with his very first release in 2016. His new single Lost Voices is a powerful and emotional track, showing his thoughts on the age of social media and the world of digital communication - giving everyone a voice whilst also drowning them out. The idea is displayed beautifully in the combination and opposition of a rocky electric guitar riff with his trademark vocals and melodies. In short, another melodic house and folktronica gem from Blindsmyth.

Blindsmyth‘s art was the first reason to make a label out of Cosmic Society and to support his dream to get out as a musician worldwide. SULEIMAN RECORDS is a Montreal boutique digital label founded by DJ/producer Darem Aissa. The name of the imprint pays homage to Syrian poet Suleiman Al-Aissa, one of the most prominent contemporary Arab poets.

The intent of SULEIMAN RECORDS and its vinyl-only sub-label AISSA RECORDS is to promote and produce positive, quality, underground electronic music. Taking influences from House, Techno and the many amalgamations in between, involving a diverse array of talented artists worldwide.

Nau Squaglia's heart-warming grooves have soothing synth textures and crisp percussion that he combines with uplifting melodies to create dance floor orientated tracks.

Earthly Delights works with artists from across the globe to create culturally diverse soundscapes, which embraces ethnically rich musical inspirations with tribal rhythms, hypnotic percussion, enchanting melodies and often spellbinding vocals. The record label aims to entrance the listeners and enrapture dance floors with its dazzling multiplicity of sounds.

All of the tracks on this album have their own place as a solo piece of music, but they have been sequenced together in a storytelling flow of emotions.

“Stick To My Guns” has gentle percussion and a shimmering guitar that radiates warmth like the sun melting frost on a cold winter’s morning. Building momentum, the following tracks start to sway like blades of grass in the breeze.

Things are in full stride by the time the third track “How Far Is Too Far” introduces its uplifting energy with spine-tingling synth lines. The dubby sounds and trippy vocals of “Relentless” provide a sideways step, before the album continues its upwards trajectory.

“One More Night” marks the halfway point with its haunting vocals, and the next three tracks are majestic cuts of tantalising deep house.

“Shape of Things to Come” is the penultimate track, and it’s an epic electronica cut that blends an acid arpeggio line with a heavy snare to create a dramatic ending.

Closing out the album is the ambient outro track “Midnight Blues” which is a thought-provoking piece with a tranquil mood that brings the listener back down after such an uplifting journey.

PREMIERE: Nau Squaglia - Relentless [Earthly Delights]

Following up to his epic tune from 2019, "Magneto", SVT alum Nhii surfaces this spring on A Tribe Called Kotori with his latest solo instalment, "Brooklyn Serenity". True to his free-flowing, widescreen approach towards production and life in general, Nhii (No Human Is Illegal) telekinetically escorts his listener onto a path of vibrant sensual psychedelia and eclectic wizardry that lack neither spirit nor oomph. 

As totemic silhouettes blend into a goosebump-inducing tapestry of polyrhythmic drums and stealth electronics, the opening cut "The Light Inside" - featuring Shrii's suave vocals - invites you to a whirling carnival of bleepin' and bloopin' extravaganza, packed to the brim with that trademark Nhii soulful punch. The further syncopated "Soul Xylem" picks up the torch with swagger and attitude, pulling out a playful distillate of warm Jewish jazz clarinet, freq-shifting bass and frolicsome drums to satisfyingly deep yet dynamic effect. 

Hopping in on remix duty, B.o.T unbridles the original's horsepower with extra focus and emphasis on DJ use. Repurposed for no-nonsense dance floor traction, "Soul Xylem" proves a highly efficient energy-booster while retaining all of Nhii's refined melodic touch and laid-back, smokey jazz vibes. Premium material for the jockeys out there, yes, but with that cracking, all-natural strut of Nhii we dig so much.
