I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to give back to the community that shaped me. What it means to create something for the culture, not just within it. I wanted to contribute in a different way this time. Something that lives beyond the party. Something that holds space for the artists who’ve impacted me on a deeper level. That’s how the FIXVTIØN mix series came to life. And I couldn’t think of a more meaningful way to start than with Headless Horseman.

His music has been a constant force in my life for years. Guiding me, influencing my sound, expanding my understanding of what Techno can feel like. From the first time I experienced his work, it left an imprint on me that’s never faded. To have him as the debut of this project is surreal. It’s full circle. It’s an honor.

With that being said, I’m excited to unveil the first installment of FIXVTIØN’s mix series. A new platform dedicated to pushing forward-thinking Techno and resisting the over-saturation of formulaic sounds.

This latest transmission, captured at the Khidi night at Human, is no exception. It's a relentless excavation of the genre's darkest corners—a journey defined by his signature pummeling kicks, clangorous metallic echoes, and the cold, physical energy that has come to define his sound.

Deftly merging her background in sound design with techno and its real world applications, Toxido Mask is a shadowy DJ/Producer who calls Berlin home and has been challenging the fringe of her craft for over a decade. Her fastidious selections and skill on the decks are nothing short of legendary, providing experiences that rumble and vibrate with mystical power, characterised by a raw intensity and fragile balance between ‘harmony and disharmony, clarity and distortion’, a testament to the transformative nature of the genre and her keen understanding of it. She’s a Tresor resident and curator of the OMM Transmission Podcast and party series, an outlet for further explorations into the murky world of this defiant sound. Productions too have offered a glimpse into the shifting sands of her percussive mayhem with releases on Semantica Records, Aneelhi and Pregnant Void. Toxido’s paradigm has found form wherever possible and proven her singular vision can constantly change and provoke. Bassiani Podcast 274 is a dose of primal techno that radiates and consumes its listener, expansive and potent beats from a formidable talent.
