“SITOI is a multidisciplinary artist in the field of experimental music and contemporary art.
They use performance art to manifest their eerie-yet-compelling visions of vulnerability, carnality and social structures through intricate poetry and dark disjointed production. SITOI enjoys a sweaty and purifying rave amongst classic and harsh techno but finds pleasure and inspiration also in noise, ambient, avantgarde pop and wrenching
experimental club music.”

A wonderful artist with a mix from the depths. Highly recommend checking out any project they’re involved in, not least, their latest EP “Kuori I” on the excellent Changeless Records .

For the third episode of our mix series, we are pleased to welcome the french artist Guerre Maladie Famine.

Guerre Maladie Famine’s DJ sets cross musical genres to sew together the idioms of our fragmented collective identity. The thrilling narrative he composes does not simply point out the porosity of musical genre division. It also invites us to intimately question the integrity of our musical identities, all too often resulting from blind determinism and empty certitudes.

"In correlation with ex magazine first release, I wanted through this mix to explore the fragmented nature of our identities in the digital realm using old-school breakcore mixed with OSTs from animes and games that dig into the same theme (Serial Experiments Lain, Kaiba, Perfect Blue, Zelda)

With the increasing use of technology in our daily lives, where online personas, social media, and virtual communities have become an integral part of everyday life allowing individuals to create and project different versions of themselves, each fragmenting into multiple and often conflicting identities, boundaries between reality and the virtual are increasingly blurred, in a world where identity is constantly in a flux i feel like these works have more relevance than ever before (encourage u to watch them, especially Lain and Kaiba)"

We have nothing but praise for Endobliss and their work, to which they fittingly refer to as 'shycore'. For the Shifted sounds series, Endobliss weaves sophisticated stories made from pop fragments, glitchy IDM and future-proof jungle and hardcore. While this blend clearly builds on a high level of sophistication and skill, the mix' original intention is to rather overcome the thinker and interact on a physical level instead.

British producers and DJs MM (@djdoublem94) and Suda (@sudanim) joined forces at Unsound 2018 to present a brand new collaborative show in a vast, abandoned industrial kitchen in Hotel Forum. Working with music, fog and light, the artists created an immersive experience, combining the sleek futuristic textures and heavy drums of hybrid club music. This exclusive podcast is the first recorded sound of Async Figure available online and a taste of what's to come. Look forward to their China Tour (14 June - Oil, Shenzen; 15 June - All, Shanghai; 22 June - Loopy, Hangzhou) and forthcoming releases.
