inside of a this green meadow, I saw you in my shadow.
you are just filled with hate, who knows where the hate begins?
Everybody bustling around, no one's feet are firmly on the ground.
I'm too afraid to move, I feel it in my skin.

too many faces are weary,
too many high spirits gone tired.
Too many people are anxious

You feel the stress in your heart.
It's just been far too long since you've had a rest.

Too long have I been in this tie, 
Too long since you took off that dress,
Let corporations rule our lives, yet we do not resist.
Cha'ching that's where it all is.  That's all that you want in your hands.
you don't care about anything else, are we only looking from the outside?

Mother earth is really a nervous wreck.
And she couldn't say goodbye to the thoughts that plagued her.
When she was just a child, she couldn't sleep at night.
Don't you know Mother Earth is really a nervous wreck.
When she was just a baby, she was given light.
Even a creature as big as her is under god.
Oh don't you know Mother Earth is really a nervous wreck.
She lives in fear, always worried about other's thoughts.
Unable to contrl her mind, she expresses it in Earthquakes and rain and thunder.
