Bedouin’s Human By Default recruits Mike Steva for the magical 'Tyre'. Previously appearing on Ame and Dixon’s Innervisions, Yoruba Records, MoBlack Records and more, Mike Steva readies his first appearance on Bedouin’s Human By Default imprint with the deeply hypnotic ‘Tyre’ EP. An artist who celebrates life and dancing within his organic and propulsive compositions, ‘Tyre’ displays Mike Steva’s own distinct style within two dense and rich productions.

Leading the release, the ‘Tyre’ combines unique sample sources with trippy vocal chops, noisy synth work, and a deep, pulsating low end. ‘Tribal Salute’ follows, bringing skippy percussions, engaging instrumentation and sweeping pads together for a moving B-side to round out the release.

'We are happy to share this bootleg remix we did for Nick Mulvey´s „Dancing For The Answers“. It will not be officially released and only shared exclusively with friends and family.

We saw a couple of Nick Mulvey's concerts in Barcelona during 2018. We fell in in love with Nick's music and played around with it in the studio and came up with the idea of this Squire & Karcelen Remix.

Nick Mulvey is a well known singer and songwriter from the UK. He was a founding member of the band Portico Quartet. In 2011 he started his solo career releasing the EPs "The Trellis2 and "Fever to the Form". In 2014 his studio album "First Mind in 2014“ came out and received a Mercury Music Prize nomination. His second album, Wake Up Now, was released on 8 September 2017.
His new album is coming out this year!

We are happy to share this special remix from Squire & Karcelen exclusively with you. We met Nick at one of the concerts where he hand over the stems of "Dancing for the Answers".
This is the outcome of the fun project and we hope you like it as much as we do.
