If you are into Techno Music, you may have already come across one of D.A.V.E. The Drummer’s records. 

Hailing from London’s illegal warehouse party scene that exploded in the 90’s, DJ & producer D.A.V.E. The Drummer started the label Hydraulix in 1998 as an output for his own production ideas. The label intended to bridge the gap between the acid techno of his previous productions and a darker style of techno that D.A.V.E. was experimenting with in the studio. 

Hydraulix made some big waves in the Hard Techno scene throughout the 2000’s and is still going strong with many of the new releases hitting the top spots in the Beatport Charts. 

Tracks from Hydraulix have found their way into the playlists of some of the worlds top DJs as well as keeping a huge following of underground Techno DJs across the globe. 

D.A.V.E’s recent music reflects a shift toward a darker stripped back techno sound and the label is still at the forefront of the techno scene winning respect from many DJs and taking on board fresh young artists as well as releasing tracks by seasoned Hydraulix regulars. 

Still a hard working DJ and Producer, & currently running his weekly Sunday Session show during lockdown with wife Justine doing visuals D.A.V.E. is responsible for remixes and productions for many top techno labels including: Suara, Dolma, Cause, Finder, Techburst, Harthouse, Fine Audio, Noom, Reklusive, Respekt, Naked Lunch, Phobiq, Elektrax, Techburst, Cluster, Stay Up Forever, Maximum Minimum, Routemaster, Smitten, Prolekult, Nucleas, Vicious Circle and of course Hydraulix, Apex and Mutate To Survive.

Lucinee has shown a tireless drive and dedication since the beginning of her career in the Techno scene and has gained a remarkable international reputation as a producer and DJ. Notable international gigs include her first Boiler Room appearance in Warsaw, Berghain's Säule, infamous Amsterdam Dance Event, Endurance in Copenhagen, London based FOLD and many more.
The Berlin-born artist is part of the Voxnox fam and holds a residency at renowned PAL nightclub in Hamburg. She is known for her distinctive, high voltage and no-fucks-given Techno sets - combining hypnotizing Techno, Trance, Oldschool and EBM.

In 2019 she co-founded STRAP, a forward-thinking Techno party series at PAL, featuring art exhibitions, body positivity, experimental music and cutting-edge Techno.

As a producer, Lucinee provided sonically diverse input to labels such as Voxnox Records, EXHALE, Space Trax, RAW and many more – always delivering quality productions with a strong personal touch.

This week on the Ismcast we have Felicie.

Part of the Exil Paris collective, Felicie is one of the most promising djs and producers in the hot Parisian rave scene. After releasing on labels such as Exhale, Mord or Soma, her next EP is planned to be released on Clergy. Felicie’s unreleased music has been supported by household names such as Dax J, Amelie Lens, Rebekah, Bas Mooy or Cleric. After playing for several collectives in France, Felicie has now had international bookings in Madrid, Bogota, Montreal or Lisboa, and has played in renowned clubs as Griessmuehle, Fold, Grelle Forelle or La Machine du Moulin Rouge. She also recently performed her first Boiler Room. From high tempo grooves to fast paced sounds, Felicie developed her own style always focusing on giving the crowd an uncompromising and energetic set.

An hour of fast and hardgroove representing the energy of what she would play on peak-time hour, including oldschool classics with a couple of her favorite tracks, and a few unreleased.

Antigone est un jeune artiste, producteur et DJ, à l’avant garde de la scène électronique française.
Adepte d’une techno dense et élégante il est désormais l’une des figures emblématiques de de la scène électronique Made in France, qui résonne avec chaleur, puissance et créativité.
Au rythme de deux ou trois sets par semaine, Antigone fait danser partout dans le monde. Des capitales européennes en passant par l’Asie et l’Amérique Latine, les clubs et festivals parmi les plus réputés se l’arrachent.
Éduqué depuis son plus jeune âge à digger aux fonds des bacs chez le disquaire Synchrophone à Paris, il est ouvert à de nombreux genres musicaux.
Le jeune producteur à fait une entrée très remarquée dans le monde des musiques électronique avec son Forbidden Works EP paru sur Construct Re-form. Rapidement remarqué par quelques promoteurs parisiens, il devient alors un résident incontournable de la Concrete. Après avoir sorti des EP’s chez Dement3d, Concrete et Token ainsi que plusieurs remix dont un pour Carl Craig, Antigone a sorti à l’automne 2018 son premier album, acclamé par le public et les médias, sur le label de référence Token.
En 2019, Antigone a sorti « DANCE » sur Trip Recordings et devient à ce titre le premier artiste français à sortir de la musique sur le label de Nina Kraviz. Après des mois de travail, il a réalisé un de ses rêves de toujours et a lancé en janvier 2020 son label, sa nouvelle maison : Ostinato
