Paris-based label Last Love Records is pleased to present to their debut compilation "Everything a Part of You" ♡

With 22 tracks, ranging from ambient to club music, through hyperpop and lesbian anthems, "Everything a Part of You" depicts the evanescence and multi-faceted experience of love stories.

❦ All proceeds from the digital sale of this compilation will be donated to the mutual aid fund of the FLIRT. The FLIRT is a nonprofit working towards helping disabled, sex workers, immigrant and/or poor trans women. To fight against transphobia, white supremacy and ableism, they created a support network between trans women and transfeminine people, through various actions : emergency financial aid, access to hormones, psychosocial and administrative support. Fairy-esque synths, digital strings and spectral atmospherics combine to lure you into tuna's “Object Permanence”, out via NYC's Altamira Records on June 14th, 2024. In the release, tuna, real name Julian Schäfer, evokes fractals that combine his glossy audio productions with the lushness of the boreal world.

Represented through a mixture of auditory synthesis and fantastical themes, “Object Permanence” ponders, and then objects to, the idea of immutability. The natural world serves as a metaphor for the concept. An appropriated painting of a shoreline on the EP's cover may seem like a representative moment of nature's beauty and order, but through evaporation, tides, human intervention, and the life and death of millions of organisms that live within, a seemingly static frame is actually representative of a continually changing environment.

The closing song, “Melt Like Water,” encapsulates this theme with a quote by a tribal community elder from Vanuatu in Werner Herzog’s 2016 documentary, "Into the Inferno." “Everything will melt, the stones, the trees, everything, like water.” In our crumbling world, how can one expect any permanence?

Matías Levy ( https://soundcloud.com/matias-levy-alfie ) es un pianista y compositor de Buenos Aires, Argentina, especializado en música contemporánea y electrónica. Combinando instrumental, ambiente y ruido. estética, las composiciones de Levy se centran en la exploración del tiempo, el ritmo, la forma y la superposición de planos texturales, utilizando procesos autogenerativos.


"Espektra” surgió como una pieza musical incidental para un espectáculo de danza de Isabel Sidotti. Este trabajo cíclico de cinco partes integra elementos de techno y ambiente, empleando irregularidades métricas, fallas y distorsiones como mecanismos de corrupción estructural y replicación de la danza. La pieza de danza refleja temas de la corporalidad, la figura humana y la corrupción social sistémica, creando un paisaje sonoro que refleja y amplifica la narrativa de la actuación.

 En “Espektra”, Levy crea una experiencia auditiva matizada, que recuerda a la cinemática. Partituras y música electrónica de vanguardia con uso de fallas y distorsiones. 

Distintas técnicas, combinadas con texturas ambientales, evocan un ambiente sofisticado y un paisaje sonoro inmersivo, haciéndose eco de la intensidad temática a la atención del detalle que se encuentra en la música electrónica contemporánea.

Este enfoque asegura que “Espektra” se destaca por sí sola como una exploración convincente del sonido y la narrativa.
