As a member of the Phantasia collective and label, linse is a full-time artist specializing in illustration and motion design. She recently started her vinyl journey and loves to move around different shades of house and electro music.
Her set starts with shades of balearic and deep house, perfect for a bright weekend morning or a feel-good afternoon. The warm grooves and airy melodies set a positive tone, whether you just tune into your sunny day or keep your smile at the afterhour. As it unfolds, dreamy acid house takes over, blending hypnotic basslines with 303 synths.

The Basic Moves Of … islas

Attention music lovers ! This is an ultra ultra special mix, since it is the long-awaited islas Basic Moves podcast. Ailsa Cavers aka islas and I started and ran the record label and club nights together for the first four years. As time takes things and things take time (and life rolls on (and off) and on) our paths have brought us back to sharing friendship, culture, and music again :)

islas also Ailsa is a creative centipede roaming the fields of art, design, music, literature and so much more. Originally from Reading (UK) but relocated to Bordeaux (FR) in the early 2000s where she studied at Ecole Des Beaux Arts before landing in what is now her hometown, Brussels (BE). Together with a bunch of like-minded souls she started the electronic music collective Planet, ran a music pop-up called OP-a with her bff Dana Kuehr…overall islas is a busy, gifted artistic bee that never stings.

Sooo to the music: 2 years in the making, this mix is a story of carefully selected, funny and open-minded club music dug up in the garden of electro house, quirky tech house, Detroit techno, and millennium minimal. All with an islas twist and topped with an English, French and Belgian sauce. Praise the lovely, steezy Ailsa alias islas forever !

PAULUM Records proudly continues its journey through the first-ever compilation series with the release of PAULUM011 VOL. 2, out today – August 7, 2025.

Following the warm reception of Volume 1, this second edition brings together four artists with strong ties to the label and the broader international underground scene—each with a deeply personal approach to minimal and house music.

First up is Casimir von Oettingen, also known as CVO and the founder of Paulum Records. With this track, he opens a fresh chapter for the label—bringing a distinctly funky and housy energy to the compilation. While maintaining the minimalistic essence Paulum is known for, this production marks a bold and playful step forward, hinting at a broader sonic horizon for the label. It’s a personal statement, balancing innovation with respect for the roots.

Roni Amitai, a close friend of the label originally from Israel and now based in Detroit, returns with another standout production. Known for her memorable live appearance at the Paulum showcase in Berlin and a string of excellent releases, Roni brings emotional depth and dancefloor functionality in perfect balance.

From Budapest, ZKY makes a welcome return to his roots. Known on Paulum under his alias Solus, where he released a full EP, ZKY reconnects with his original moniker to deliver a track that bridges past and present. It’s a nod to his evolution as an artist, with a sound that remains unmistakably his.

Closing out VOL. 2 is Coco, a Berlin-based DJ and producer with deep roots in the city’s electronic music culture. A long-standing figure in the scene, she is one of the driving forces behind Betriebsfeier at Hoppetosse—arguably Berlin’s most respected event series for minimal house and techno. His contribution to this release carries the energy and elegance he’s known for on and off the decks.

Once again, this volume showcases Paulum's commitment to presenting artists with unique voices, shared values, and a love for sophisticated club music.
