March 2nd, 2023. Today's interview is with Marceau Verdiere, artist, educator and team member of Freshwater-based organization Creekside Arts, a Dreammaker Program of The Ink People Center For the Arts. We discuss Creekside's artist residencies, workshops and performances. We also talk about Creekside's goal of having visiting artists and audiences interact as well as opportunities for those artists to visit with and work on various projects with the larger Humboldt community. Verdiere also talks about his own art's thematic focus, his decision to retire from teaching and how his work in education and at Creekside has influenced his growth as an artist.
