This track is part of a split release in collaboration with Sven Laux under the moniker Offtopic called Offtopic Meets Humeka - SoCo LP.

I gave it this title because of the changes within the track : from a light form, the track becomes more heavy and dark.

Figure Uncertainty

Ma Ville Blanche is the second track of Offtopic Meets Humeka - SoCo.
By the time I made this track, I was having my studio in what is now my daughter's room. It's at the ninth floor of a building in Paris where you can see all the roofs of the town, from La Butte Montmartre (Le Sacré Coeur, do you know it ?) to La Défense (Paris's business district).
When I finished the track, the snow was falling over the town and everything was becoming white. I love this moment, when all the dirt and dust of my town disappear under the immaculate snow. I decided to name the track after this, Ma Ville Blanche (My White Town).

Here is the 1st track of this release in collaboration with Sven Laux.

I particularly love this one. It was completely knew to me to make music like this. I was trying new ways of composition and I was very happy with it (and I am still ;-)
It's my voice you can hear on this one.

How Would It Be Without You

All sounds are done with sine generators. It's quite easy for the low end section as sines are appropriate. 
But for the middle and hi-end, I used the same generator 3 times with different patterns. My idea was to make those lines cross together with different placements and notes. The notes themselves draw a sine curve, from low to high keys and back. 
After that I applied some effects to some lines to make the track live, breath. The effects are also following an automated sine curve. 
And then I made some arrangements along the track with no reference to the sine, just following my feeling to make the track more interesting.

I was listening to some old tracks today and I found this remix I made for Yuki Yaki a long time ago, in 2008 exactly !
I thought it would have been too bad not to share it with you as I really like this one.
