In 2021, the New Jersey based producer & DJ launched his Devilish Affair imprint with the Adventures EP which was supported by many leading names in the industry. 

Eric’s story continues with a follow up to the label’s debut in the form of "Adventures Part 2.”

Drama’ leads the release and lays down a dynamic stab-led hook at its core while a bumpy vacillating rhythm, murky textures and low-end pulsations carry the ever-evolving groove throughout. ‘Café Dubs Part 1’ follows and dives deeper courtesy of sweeping atmospherics, expansive reverberations and airy pads running atop a minimalistic drum groove. 

‘Floating Away’ is up next and as the name would suggest offers a cosseting feel via ethereal, billowing pad lines, soft chord stabs, twinkling synth chimes and low-slung percussion. 

Closing it out, ‘School Yard’ then leans into darker realms with hazy, heavily reverberated stabs, hypnotic voices, crisp drums and choppy bass hits

The compilation "Get Together" enters a new round and gathers four artists to take a journey into electronic music together again. After the vinyl release with the original tracks by Maxie König, Dip, Ana Antonova and Cie, four remixers are joining the Get Together to interpret the music in a new way: Eddy Romero, Mar io, Eric Louis and Cie. Cie starts with the remix of "TenTen" and creates immediately a big groove with big basses, chords and illuminative sound waves, which leads us directly to the dancefloor. With Eddy Romero we then float into the dub techno air with the "Dezest" remix, and inventive chords and percussion sounds ensure a fantastic flight. It's like floating on clouds with the glittering strings and jazzy melodies that Mar io conjures up in his remix of "Naked Neighbour". 

The beat keeps pushing forward, where Eric Louis seamlessly picks up with his interpretation of "Haus Im Turm". The deep beat and the dubbed chords form a great conclusion to this wonderful journey that you want to embark on again and again.

At first glance, the Smoring dice look like an unremarkable trinket. However, it is hard to find a more unpredictable and all-powerful artefact. Made of rare elven wood, they are used in emergencies that can be lethal. Instead of numbers, the dice are inscribed with mysterious symbols that, when combined, can grant various enhancements, such as the ability to break willpower, become unnaturally attractive, and many more. A side effect can be a karmic vortex that collapses all past, present, and future events into a single point in time. If this combination is used, the person instantly goes insane.

IULY.B delivers his debut album ‘Dimensions’ via Switzerland’s Adam’s Bite in April 2024, comprised of eleven originals from the Romanian artist.
Across the past decade Iasi, Romania’s IULY.B has steadily stamped his mark on the underground scene through his releases on the likes of Metereze, Constant Sound, Visionquest and Infuse among others. Here he marks a milestone in his career, delivering his debut long player for the Swiss imprint Adam’s Bite.
Across the eleven track ‘Dimensions’ album, IULY.B embraces the long player format to deliver a psychedelia infused range of material in his signature, raw, subtly nuanced and hypnotic style. Opener ‘Seagulls Passing By’ perfectly sets the tone with field recordings from the beach, breezy pads and a shuffled drum groove. The project then shifts up gears continually with ‘Altered Memories’ rolling rhythm, choppy bass and sweeping synths, the aptly titled ‘Bump’s gritty bass stabs, tripped out vocals and crunchy drums.
‘Aurora’ then drifts back into deeper realms with entrancing atmospherics, skippy percussion and acid-tinged synth licks before shifts straight back to raw dance floor ready material with a murky bass grooves, skippy drums and dubbed out vocals. ‘Ronnie’s Squat’ sees IULY blur the lines between House and Techno next with a gritty acid laced bass hook, swinging drums and bubbling synth flutters.
The story continues with ‘Dark Safari’ and its fluttering low-end pulsations, crisp percussion and tension building synth swells before ‘Variations’ heads back to the roots of Dub Techno, traversing through seven minutes of swirling dub echoes, hypnotic chimes and muted drums.
‘Between Worlds’ sees IULY once again moving in a new direction with saturated electro leaning rhythms, elongated subs and resonant synth licks before the mesmerizing textures of ‘Atlantis’ merge an amalgamation of melodies with a sturdy rhythmic foundation.
Track ten ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ then begins to wind down the project with an electronica leaning aesthetic, bringing together ethereal pads with plucked synth melodies and a chugging stab sequence before ‘Leaving Out’ concludes the project, a subtly unfurling journey through cascading atmospherics, robotic vocal chants and soft, broken percussion.

This story begins in early 97 when a fledgling producer purchased his first bits of studio gear with a Roland MC-303 and a Juno 106, spending every free moment creating drum loops, basses and soulful pads. Influenced by the underground sounds coming out of Detroit, Chicago and London, the Melbourne based Swiss/British/Aussie producer began a lifelong love affair and obsession with electronic music.

His musical directions cross over into many genres, flexing between house and techno and meandering into break beat, acid and electro. The journey you take is always important during a DJ set or studio session, where it starts isn't necessarily a sign of how it may end but its important that it always leaves you with an emotional impression...life was never meant to be boring. Holding down residencies across the globe over the years is proof of this, with Kronic (Melbourne/AUS), Shove (Neuchatel/SUI), Hummingbird (Berlin/GER), Emotional Content (Leeds/UK).
