Ecstatic to be putting this out. It's a side-step from the usual 808s that resonate with me which is exactly why this is smack-bang in the centre of my [AM/PM] mix series. 

Connection Catalyst is an emotion-driven hour mix compiled of tracks that've made me grateful for connections made and missing the ones lost. This driving progressive sound is something I've loved playing with and a facet to this alias that hasn't been shown yet. Pushing the emotional, seriousness tone aside, it's a mix I fucking loved prepping and listening to 100-times over. I hope you enjoy it too.

We're starting another week with a beautiful mix by Australian DJ OLIIV. Based in Sydney, OLIIV is a DJ best known for her versatile sweeps of melodic and deep grooves. A vessel for the avante-garde, her unique sound is always grounded in authenticity.

A lover of electronic music from a young age, it wasn’t until 2019 that she started the journey as an artist. In a short time, OLIIV’s musical passions have earnt her a residency with Return To Rio, whilst also hosting club nights as label co-founder of The Fan Club Collective. She has curated podcasts that have been featured on international platforms and radio stations, as well as running her own podcast series Fan Club Friends. She is also the Music Director and co-coordinator for Neomenia - a Sydney based boutique festival.

Regularly supporting some of the biggest names in the industry and with some international gigs on the horizon, there is an exciting future ahead for OLIIV.

Coming up is a stunningly exquisite sip courtesy of NYC producer and DJ Holosound. His Mezcal Paloma is spicy and mellow at the same time - get ready for super slow journey filled with eerie and groovy bits, Holosond rarely gets a chance to share with his audience. 

Holosound's musical journey began in 2004. While his sound has evolved over the years, he has always maintained a subversively sexy vibe built atop a bed of low-slung organic and deep house with a sweet spot for melodic techno and a touch of Indie Dance, bringing audiences along on a sensual auditory journey.

Over nearly two decades, he has dotted the globe with appearances in over 23 countries and every major city in the US, playing alongside the likes of Jamie Jones, Lee Burridge, Be Svendsen, Satori, Mira, Adriatique, DJ Tennis, Francesca Lombardo, Lee Foss, Blond:ish, Audiofly, MAGA and others.

In a parallel universe, he serves as the Director of Business Development for Art With Me (Miami), bringing his passion for music and personal connections to the festival and its partners.
