No write up could share a period of time between peak 2008-2011 with this chappy including other close buds, as we were just kids in our 20’s on a mission to change the stigma & perceptions of a heavily commercial orientated town that we saw that had mass potential, even the artists/dj's before our time made this place a launch pad for us.

Having spent many years originally as dedicated party-goers,  promoters & of course dj’ing at house parties, our tight collective became regulars at all the hot-spots heading up our beloved Heritage Bar, Rhino Bar, Watermark & who could forget Cactus Jacks that we put on it’s head (Billy The Kid b2b’s were epic).  We even put our own twist playing deep, bumpy, groove infused Disco/House Music that got us into so much shit as we were up against the usual Top 40 ‘night-life’ jukebox agenda at the Super clubs - you know which ones, but hey our friends backed us 100%.

Like I mentioned earlier, we could all share an experience and put this in a book, it would be a top seller especially if we dive into the realms of Full Moon parties held on Magnetic Island, maybe another time?

It’s nice to reminisce and get an old friend in the mix to share some tunes for those mid week blues, we certainly left a mark and can see the influences that have shaped that place today. Stayed tuned for more tales & mixes from pals up Nth.
