This was my first European Festival booking set at the mighty Modem Festival. Best dj experience of my life!

So full disclosure.... this is a studio recreation of the tracks played. Iistening back in the car today, this isn't how I mixed it live (the recording off the desk fucked up) and I'm a little disappointed but I'll polish this version - I was just too excited to get it out there because I had such a good time and I rushed it!!!

Modem do have a clean copy of the original set which will be released the same way they did last year.  Much love to you all xx

★ Artist Info ★

Plexigo is the electronic music project by Lovis Einsmann from Germany. Originally from Hamburg in the north he moved in his youth to Wiesbaden near Frankfurt am Main. In early childhood he got fascinated with electronical sounds and played piano. Around 2009 he started to produce own tracks and created the "Plexigo" project. At the same time he had his first DJ-Gigs in Wiesbaden. From dubby and technoid beats the Plexigo sound evolved to more psychedelic layers, and so did his DJ-Sets. He got in contact with Stefan Ludley from Frankfurt am Main, one of the best known DJ's in the Rhein Main area and their local Goa & PsyTrance Scene. Stefan liked his psychedelic sound and so Plexigo signed at the Frankfurt based record label "Crystallin Music" and published his first release "The Kraken". In 2013 Plexigo founded the event collective "Unterholz" and began to host gatherings in the wild nature heart of Wiesbadens forests with close friends and his brother in crime "Frechenhäuser". Soon the gatherings became an well established happening for a lot of ravers and fraggles. Since these days "Unterholz" grew up to one of the biggest names of the Goa Scene around the Rhine-Main Area in South-West Germany with their Forest indoor event series "Treibholz" at the Schlachthof Wiesbaden inviting some of the most famous names of the international Psy Scene.

The music style of Plexigo grew up to more darkish, forest sounds. Today Plexigo plays his DJ-Sets all around Germany and Europe on different international Festivals and Partys, such as "Waldfrieden Wonderland", "Transylvania Calling" or the "Transylvaliens Festival" in Romania. Deeply energizing and all-time forward pumping psychedelic bassmusic with mystical, organic soundscapes. Full Power Night Psy, Twilight, Forest (sometimes with an oldschoolish vibe) and Dark Forest Psytrance! Right now Plexigo is based between Bremen and Wiesbaden, Germany.

In April 2024 Plexigo signed on the international music label "Hekwapi Records" from India to represent together with his old friend and mentor "Mico-X" from Frankfurt am Main the Hekwapi Sound as a DJ in Germany.

PLEXIGO - The Holy Ayahuasca (Dark Forest Psytrance) • DJ-Set • August 2025

This set contains tracks from SUPERLUMINAL & ARGONIK's recent split EP on Sangoma Records, as well as other collaborations between the two projects and a few of their favorite solo tracks from the last year. SUPERLUMINAL is the joint project of Kabayun and his wife and muse, Yasmin. Their creative symbiosis—her art inspiring his music and vice versa—has now evolved into making music together. The result is Superluminal: a fusion of their love, energy, and passion for psychedelic culture. With pumping basslines and twisted soundscapes, it’s designed to stir the dust and shake your chakras. Their second EP on Sangoma Records dropped January 17th, with more releases on the horizon. ARGONIK is the psychedelic trance project of Armin Nezhad. Born in Iran, he grew up playing piano, guitar, and drums, exploring everything from classical to flamenco to rock before discovering psychedelic trance in the late ’90s. Since his first trip to Goa in 2006, Armin has become a fixture of the scene, DJing at legendary venues like 9Bar, Hilltop, and Shiva Valley, and hosting events within the Persian community.  After years of DJing as DJ Armin and producing darkpsy under Dragonik, he launched Argonik in 2020—a project blending everything he absorbed on the Goa dance floors. Now part of the Sangoma family, Argonik has a solo EP, collaborations with Kabayun and Superluminal, and plenty more music on the way.

In ancient communities, when someone fell ill, the shaman would inquire, “When did you give
up dancing?” I view dance as a profound mode of moving meditation, a conduit to our authentic
selves, to others, and to the cosmos at large. Through dance, our bodies articulate thoughts and
emotions, forging connections with the universe. To me, psychedelic music serves as the perfect
soundtrack to unlock the doors of perception. I’ve been on this journey since I was 20, stationed
in front of the console, embarking on festival and party excursions across Europe. I’ve twirled hula
hoops, painted vivid pictures on both canvas and bodies, and fallen in love with the kaleidoscope
of shapes, colors, sounds, and smiles. Now, finding myself on the other side, I consider it a privile-
ge and a profound honor.
Flow’s DJ career commenced in 2012. Her musical preferences gravitate toward underground
sounds, with occasional forays into psytechno and dark progressive. Her sets exude high-energy
vibes, radiate positivity, groove irresistibly, and delve deep into the psychedelic realm.
In 2014, she joined the Merkaba crew, spearheading the Taurus Connection Festival for a remar-
kable six-year run. Then, in 2017, she became a pivotal member of Illusion the Art of Party, an
avant-garde event in Italy that fuses psychedelic progressive, psychedelic techno, and dark pro-
gressive with artistry. In the 2023 she joined the label Reversible Records.
In December 2024, his first V.A., UMAMI, was released, working directly with artists from all over
the world, like Sychotria, EVP, Ninesense, Dezzert, Act One.
Her musical journey has led her to grace the stages of numerous Italian and international
festivals, including the Moon Mountain Festival in Thailand, Curlie’s Xmas in Goa, the Revision
Festival in Greece, the 7 Chakras Festival, the Blackmoon Festival, Atlas Festival and the Wao
Festival in Italy.
