Bumping and flexing into a brave new year, Robsoul present a firing first release of 2022: Marlon George – ‘Intimate FR’ 

Kicking off as they mean to go on… Young UK talent Marlon lays down four pristine grooves, building on the momentum of breakthrough releases on the likes of Rhyme Nor Reason and Closer To Truth. This Robsoul debut sees him levelling up once again with his biggest release to date.

‘Intimate FR’ ignites the session with a sweet filtered groove and a spoken sample that celebrates total creative immersion; ‘Spanish Joint’ sparks up with a thumping up-tempo feel and purring, sexy spoken word; ‘Mamma’s Luv’ rattles with a jazzy Chicago-flavoured funk; ‘Theo’ closes the show with more funk-riddled human elements, a stripped back arrangement and a groove so warm you could light up from it. 

Four unique and distinct shades from young Marlon, four reasons to keep him and Robsoul on that radar of yours throughout 2022. Happy new dancefloors.
