ANT053 - Thrust - Skober Skober is of course one of the best talents in East Europe and he finally lands on one of the most important Techno platforms in the Italian country. Markantonio took on board this prodigious guy from Ukraine to add other powerful stuffs to Analytic Trail records arriving to the release number Fifty Three. Skober is born and based Ukrainian DJ/Producer already known in the Electronic Europe scene for his previous releases on labels like Trapez, Respekt Rec, Fone Audio and many more and he made a special Extended Play for Analytic Trail including three original own tracks. Thrust is a straight techno gear, where bass sounds and deep drum elements are the engine of the track carrying on the listener to dance. The rides and hi hats sessions are really addicted to spread the message of techno energizing machine. Rebellion is the second track of the EP, its made by a warm bassline and dark stabs, the bouncing synth rides on the fast drum kick forming a nasty Techno run. Step Forward is the last track of the EP and even the quieter, its a pumping tune formed an elastic bassline and a cool vocal effect. Clap patterns and classic hi hats are the main haulers of the groove, surrounded by a cool upbeat synth, its the right mood for the hottest dancefloors. Skober reveals his artistic skills giving his contribution to the Neapolitan Techno scene and the great journey of Analytic Trail is still on the way, stay Techno.

Originally set up in 1994, Christian Smith’s Tronic label holds a special place in techno circles. A leading force in shaping a less purist techno sound Tronic was amongst the first labels to embrace sounds from house and techno to create records that DJ’s from both scenes would play; and so it is with excited expectation that Tronic makes its return. 
One of the most in-demand production outfits around, Christian Smith &amp; John Selway are coming off a magical year. Releases for Drumcode, Bedrock, SCI+TEC and Renaissance have put them at the top of the sales charts and on countless DJs playlists. 
The legendary “Move!” (first released in 1996 on Carl Cox’s Intec label) returns to it’s spiritual home to mark the re-launch of Tronic. Originally support by everyone from Jeff Mills to Danny Tenaglia and famously included on Sasha’s seminal Ibiza Global Underground compilation, Move! is one of those records that has stood the test of time. 

For the re-launch package remixes have come from Steve Angello, and the hotly tipped Brazilian trio Dimitri Nakov, Gabe, and Ritkam (Dimitri &amp; Gabe recently remixed Sasha’s “Park It In The Shade”). Angello’s remix remains pleasingly close to the original with just a few modern touches while Nakov, Gabe &amp; Ritkam lend a deeper, progressive flavour.

Rino Cerrone's legendary Rilis series returns this summer with a blistering package which features Danilo Vigorito, Uto Karem and Cerrone himself.

Cerrone is arguably the most influential character in Italy's techno scene having carefully nurtured countless artists while juggling labels, a prolific production diary and countless dj gigs. His output always commands respect and this release is no different.

Kicking of with Cerrone's 2010 re-edit of 'Rilis 05A1', a percussive beast of a cut which combines rolling funk bass and classic stabs, 'Rilis Remix Vol 6' is a sure bet for house and techno djs alike.

Add Dubfire, Hawtin and Villalobos favorite Uto Karem and the excitement only builds. Here, the hugely talented producer delivers a low slung, heavy, trippy and heads-down version of Cerrone's 'Fracture' which stands out as some of his finest work yet.

Finally, Neapolitan veteran Danilo Vigorito steps up to the plate and delivers a deep and devasting remix of 'Burntit'. Comprising some fantastic production tweaks and edits alongside rhythmic percussion and the all important rolling bottom end, this is Vigorito at his best.

This is yet another worthy addition to the 'Rilis' concept - essential stuff

Few French electronic music artists combine experience, avant-gardism and guaranteed success on dance floors as Electric Rescue (aka Antoine Husson) does. Having previously released tracks on Sven Vath’s Cocoon Recordings, Boys Noize Records, Sci + Tech, AFU limited, Communiqué, Subject and Sign Industry, he first unleashed his distinctive brand of ultra dynamic techno and sensuality on John Digweed’s Bedrock label at the tail end of 2011.

“Dope” (BEDDIGI13) was a huge tune for Laurent Garnier, Sasha, Secret Cinema, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Dave Seaman, amongst a plethora of diverse DJs worldwide. Now Electric Rescue returns to Bedrock with the super-strong “Lili EP”, featuring three killer tunes.

“Lili” has all the ingredients to be a massive tune all summer long. Combining melodic techno attitude with a big room mentality, it has all the right ingredients. Already a huge tune in John Digweed’s sets, this is going to explode to anthem status worldwide over the coming months. With the equally exciting “Opened Hands” and “Science” revealing an experimental and diverse side to the Electric Rescue musical palette, this is a very exciting EP package indeed.

Electric Rescue’s reputation is already flying high in France through his residency at the Rex Club (Skryptöm parties) and organising the “Play” rave parties in Paris, Antoine Husson is most definitely a man to watch in 2012.

Maxime Dangles is a key new artist in the French avant-garde electronic music community, creating waves around the globe with his unabashed approach to proper club techno music. Last year, Santé was a highlight on John Digweed's Structures Two album and the subsequent 4-track Modulation EP further showed that Maxime Dangles is an artist buzzing with creative intention. Now, he returns to Bedrock in the summer of 2012 with the stunning 5-track Hold Up EP.

From the intense, swirling, spiralling climaxes of the title track; through the mind-bending, warped energy of Jarten; the glorious nagging hook of My Boo; Spagetjack’s nod to Giorgio Moroder; to the distorted Detroit attitude of Transparence, this is an EP bursting with hypnotic melodic swing and well-timed hands-in-the-air moments. With such an exciting musical palette to play with, Maxime Dangles cannot fail to impress even the most tired of ears.

Born in 1985, Maxime discovered the world of nightclubbing at a very young age. He quickly became an excellent DJ but crucially also learnt how to create his own music. In 2004, he started to work on remixes and edits before developing his own musical imprint, which led to releasing tracks with the famous Kompakt label in 2006. Remixes of Scan X, Miss Kittin & The Hacker, Simian Mobile Disco, Royksopp, Moby etc have followed. Maxime has recently developed a live show and his energy and passion are now making him a rising star of the international scene.
