Here is the final music cue for string orchestra and solo voice from a student film that ended up being scrapped. The title alludes to the tragic resolution of the film, where our protagonist's lifelong companion is struck down while protecting her. I chose a solo boy singer to convey a sort of innocent fragility that is emblematic of the couple's friendship from childhood. Thanks for listening!
