Killjoy is a song about the people who are trying to get you down constantly, and the times where you can't take it anymore.

'The world is still spinning, I'll fill my world with joy' shows a willingness to move on from the past and embrace the here and now.

Sam leads with melodic chords and a soulful chorus, Bron's energetic drumming fills in for the spacious bass and guitar, wherever there's space to add a fill - there will be one. I'd say maybe a little Hawkins-esque playing on this one.
