"PUSHIN DAISIES" provides an in-depth look inside Hunter’s daily struggles, relationships, & faith. (“Intro”) starts off with a bang as Hunter’s articulate wordplay is on full display. The sharp turn in the middle sets the tone for the album as he discusses, “depression”, “anger”, and “suicide”. You are diverted from the album’s dark theme on tracks like (“Butterfly” & “Born With It”) where you are hypnotized by groovy instrumentation and passion driven lyrics. On (“Alter Ego”) He grabs his cousin Mason to form the dynamic duo “Boys Who Sigh”. It is one of many hard hitting, bass rumbling, and fast paced tracks. Prepare to get intimate and very personal over live instrumentation on (“Fading”). The subtle use of guitar and drums give the perfect amount of space for his vocals to glow. The raw, unfiltered, and distorted presence found all throughout the project provides more detail into the life of a boy still finding his ways. The album ends in a lengthy, but gripping 7 minute track (“Bipolar”). It holds nothing back from the listener as you will essentially be wearing the shoes and mind of Hunter as he breaks down the deepest parts of his life.
