This song is about knowing who you are and who you aren't, and the difference between them. It's about the fear of losing yourself to those things you can't control that haunt you and turn you into something you don't want to be.

Creating this song helped me come to terms with myself and all my insecurities, and to realise that sometimes there is no happy ending. Sometimes, the sadness doesn't go away, the invisibility stays, and all that's left is emptiness. Sometimes that's just how it is, but at least music helps take the edge off.
