Processed hurdy-gurdy done which I did in one single pass, my hope is to record this as a larger work. I gave this a lovely geometric score, an invented poetic. The processing is minimal, reverb added from software; there are no added sounds, just this stereo track.

Clothesline Piece Track Zero

The hurdy-gurdy is presented here in palindrome form, four mins are placed back to back with the second half placed backwards. This improvisation is in Bb using tenor tekerolant or hurdy-gurdy (Budapest, Hungary, Balázs)this work combines with DAW LogicProX with the hurdy-gurdy.

Bearing The Light

A short fragment or trailer: as part of an advanced degree, MFA looking at experimental music. The decorative photo & gurdy by Jim Winters; the vocal artistry/inspiration by Duane Ingalls. Needless to say, these are extended techniques. This as a final work will also appear here as two movements, each ten minutes. The intent is a live duet for hurdy gurdy and antique cassette player.

Duane Ingalls on vocal artistry & mood; Jim Winters on who-knows-exactly-what but his hurdy-gurdy-- that strange, red tekero, also processing. Raw sonic material is processed from two mono recordings all as part of a graduate program and degree aimed at experimental music. The digital processing data is gone. Once exported out Mr Winter deleted breadcrumbs to trace back down to the simple, raw data started with one hour earlier.

The Choir of Naysayers, hurdy gurdy or tekerolant, two bass clarinets, Ryan Wilks on sound processing; the Naysayers, a sort or absurd kind of character embedded duet, argue but no avail against the musical voice of patience, fortitude, and admonition-- in short: The Voice of Admonition. Clothesline One - Character Scoring & Sound Art Ensemble

This is take two and my first ever Object Scoring. *Little or no gurdy in this mix.* The object installation here consisted of two canvas doors. These canvas tent doors were on the ground for two years in the weather. They were positioned around a feather arrangement facing downward. The assembled array was tied with hemp rope to an 18' tepee pole. We improved sound as we gazed at these objects chosen by the composer.
