When Equal People Records introduced this absolute badman and his ruthless sound to the universe- our first instinct was- this guy is special and will do some great things. We would like to say a big congratulations to Mr Pinder for his first vinyl release on EPR002 (Grab it if you haven't). To celebrate we have released this FREE DOWNLOAD for the third instalment of RICE COOKER RIDDIMS. 

With Bailey Ibbs + Frankel&Harper delivering an unreal double 2nd instalment- it was an utterly hard task to find a follow up. So we had to pick up that old skool Nokia blower and enlist the services of AgentPindz to deliver the next one. he SURE delivered with this track "Cutting the Mood" - an absolute dance floor melter - one for the ENERGY CREW. The legendary Paul Rayner returns with a slice of bumpy and atmospheric subtle sounding Speed Garage. Using his legendary drum breaks, floating pads, a classic stretched out vocal and a pumping sub bass to drive the track!

Paul's original tracks in the 90s were one of the main inspirations for this label to even be set up so it's an absolute honour to be releasing the music that he's making to this day.

Paul Rayner - U Turn My Life Round

The campaign for real, modern UKG continues unabated over at Instinct, as another crew of like-minded bassbin botherers step up with their own fresh takes on the 2-step sound. Pinder is super speedy and tight as you like with "Forever", while Instinct regular 0113 gets freaky with the subtly tripped out "Hard Lines". Zac Stanton is perhaps the stand out turn on this 12" with the absolutely surefooted and sharply soulful "Stop Tellin Me". Holloway comes in strong on the B2 though, channeling that impeccable Ghost sound for the stripped and spooky "Places To Be". Classy club gear throughout, but especially on that B side.
