I think I absolutely pulled one of my best sets here. I was clashing with DJ Producer of all people, so my goal was to go even harder. The crowd were as amazing as they were packed so I think I did something right. Best festival

Galaxy Love Songs is my new ep for Broken Bubble. It's a mixture between dubstep, dubfunk, techno, and breakcore, all segued together through an interesting if somewhat bleak, but danceable narrative. Most of it is about 100bpm but some of it is slightly slower (except one track, which is slightly faster)

Mystic Cave Dub

The title- "Wabi-Sabi" in english- is named for the Japanese Buddhist philosophy of seeing and accepting the beauty of the unfinished, the broken, and the impermanent. At one point I was going to make an album of this whole feeling. But my computer started going wrong, and eventually, I decided these three tracks, written over the last four years, just needed to be released before I started fresh on new hardware. And you know what? I think these three tracks fit together very nicely.

And plus, with us all, at the time of writing, stuck at home-- seems like a good time to get something out that isn't made for the clubs

Three tracks, not that dancefloor orientated, and an exploration of rich harmonic ideas- something I previously felt I hadn't practised enough. Fun cultural appropriation, not just in visuals and naming, but also in employing the hirajoshi scale for the third track- the tuning scale adapted from shamishen music. It's very pretty.

I sincerely hope you enjoy them, and greatly appreciate you for listening, or even just reading this far.

this track has an interesting story to it. i just got really ill one day and threw up a floppy disk with loads of midi data on it. then all i did was punch it into ableton and add a bunch of sounds on top. weird huh.

This hallowe'en I'm about to drop an EP I'm so proud of it's.... scary! Ok it isn't scary at all and the timing is more or less coincidence, but I am very proud of these three tunes- melodic, odd, glitchy tunes about pressing on and staying positive and getting on with things despite circumstances around you logically telling you other wise. Perhaps in spite. Also I wrote these before all this 2020 crap happened so, I guess, it only got more prescient

ANYWAY Looking Cuplike is an experiment in using my own singing voice as well as an exploration of driving techno-influenced sounds and cool melodic ideas. The lyrics can mean whatever you want them to. I don't care that's your problem

The EP itself contains two more tunes by me and excellent remixes by @kanjikintetic and @seppa, and will be out on @in:flux by the end ofv the month.
