After his debut single, "qcpyhn2," on Renraku's compilation REALTIME (released February of this year), Slace presents his debut EP, SSD. Scheduled to release November 26th on digital platforms, SSD expands on his maiden voyage with Renraku and explores even more range. Abstract voyages of musique concrète and ambient are run through various genre blends between bass, IDM, halftime, and glitch. The music evolves at the blink of an eye, full of unhinged time signatures and mutated sounds in every measure. 

Equipped with synths and Ableton, isolation from society in great parts led to a majority of the vibe felt on SSD, creating the EP over the last year while dealing with depression, existential crisis, agoraphobia, and a breakup. The innovation of electronic sound from artists like Tsuruda, EPROM, and Little Snake are felt across the heavier moments of the EP, while the drifting hypnotic mysticism of sounds from the likes of Loscil and William Basinski plant their feet into the EP by its end. A bold statement of shock and awe dynamics that goes beyond convention and relies heavily on emotional impact and sheer adventure.

- Its been more than a year now since our last compilation dropped. Meanwhile We all went through some crazy times. some of us were affected more and some less.
In colombia the people are affected hardly. Not only by covid. Even more by the violence and corruption of their government.
In early 2021 Demonstrators were speaking out about structural inequality, poverty, land reform, police violence, health care, and lack of education and opportunity
a lot of these problems have existed in Colombia for years, but they deepened dramatically during the pandemic.
Police responded by repeatedly and arbitrarily dispersing peaceful demonstrations and using excessive, often brutal, force, including live ammunition.
Multiple killings by police, as well as beatings, sexual abuse, and arbitrary detention of demonstrators and bystanders are documented.
Most of these things are still an actual problem.
In order to support the fight agianst the violence by the colombian government we made this compilation.
