Kruse  Nuernberg feat. Brolin - Lost N Free (Original Edit)

Based in Berlin, Kruse and Nuernberg have become an integral part of the underground electronica scene, synonymous with tastefully crafted house music. The duo are notorious for working different influences and collaborators into their repertoire, and the release of 'Lost n Free' on March 10th continues their tradition of high quality output. This time, they have collaborated with British producer and songwriter Brolin, who has written a heart melting vocal for this release. As the lyrics and melody swirl across an uplifting instrumental, it becomes obvious that 'Lost n Free' is the soundtrack for those introspective, early morning moments. The B side, 'Doin It' takes the release underground with its pulsing synths and piano stabs that gradually build over contagious basslines and swung drum hits.

Loki Starfish is an electro combo with pop tendencies right out of Paris' alternative scene, in keeping with groups like The Knife, Fad Gadget or Foals. Sophisticated and energetic melodies with Cold Wave tonalities, the group distinguishes itself by its musical persuasions and the multiplicity of its range.

A Path Untold is the expansive musical vision of composer and producer Daniel Merrill, known for crafting a boldly unique sound that binds elements of future garage, breaks, lo-fi house, downtempo, and film scoring aesthetics. Equally suited for eclectic dancefloors and intimate listening spaces alike, APU’s music offers immersive, melodic storytelling through innovative composition.

His sound channels personal, heartfelt expression with an emotional, otherworldly quality - fusing elegant, syncopated grooves with an undercurrent of fierce defiance. Thematically, his work explores universally relevant dualities: ancient and futuristic, euphoric and melancholic, technological and natural, individual and collective.

The debut of the A Path Untold project came with Secret Subtle Light in 2015, setting the tone for his alchemical approach to production and expansive world-building aesthetic. Building on this foundation, subsequent releases such as 2018’s Wander to Serve LP, 2020’s Lone Dweller EP, and 2022’s Sourcery LP earned international acclaim for their intricate sound design and emotional resonance.

Having performed at clubs in the UK, across Europe and the USA, Breaking Beats take great pride and pleasure entertaining live. Most recently, they performed on the Main Stage at the Edinburgh Mela where they were humbled by a phenomenal response. The guys were also showcased and interviewed on BBC Asian Network when they were invited to produce a VIP Remix for the DJ Kayper Show.

“Ik Gera Ik Gera” is a Panjabi song intended to bring a smile to the listener. The chorus transliterated means, “Give me one dance”. Sung beautifully by Nimrata it paints a scene of a joyous party, a happy occasion and a dialogue of the attraction a girl feels towards a guy with whom she wishes to dance. Breaking Beats have carefully produced the song to sound authentic using traditional Panjabi instrumentation with subtle western sounds. For a more intense flavour, a drum and bass remix is scheduled to be released. Breaking Beats are also working on music featuring well known Asian artists to be announced soon, and the boys will also be introducing and showcasing some brand new talent from the UK & India. Watch this space.
