The final single to be released from Husky's 2020 album Go Don’t Stop, FREE lands with brand new mixes from Richard Earnshaw and Secret Spade.

A collaboration with Simon Field and with Shyam P on vocals, FREE was one of the tougher cuts on the LP, a fierce, propulsive house stomper with a dominant bassline and slick production aesthetic.

A classically trained jazz musician, producer, DJ, remixer, songwriter, co-founder of the iCulture brand and Duffnote, Richard Earnshaw has released on labels like Defected, Large, Reel People Music, Groove Culture. His remix is a soulful delight, with warm open chords transforming the moodier atmosphere of the original into one of pure joy.

Australian duo Secret Spade’s modus operandi is to create song-based dance tracks that will stand the test of time. Their remix slows the tempo and ups the funk, for a version that sits somewhere between Italo disco and deep house.

Australian house stalwart Husky heats things up just in time for summer with his new single ‘Night On Fire feat. Shyam’. No stranger to writing feel good house music, Husky changes things up with a slightly tougher edge for ‘Night On Fire’. Shyam, fresh from his release on Kitt Ball adds his unique blend of soulful melodies and catchy hooks. 

On remix duties we have house music rising star Man Without A Clue. Husky returns with a club ready deep house cut featuring the vocals of US based vocalist, Letta. Jacked up beats, deep chords and pulsing bass are in thick supply here, as Husky combines his usual soulful elements with a slightly grittier groove. It's ripe and ready.

On the remix we have the UK born but globally known house producer, Scott Diaz. Fresh from recently remixing records for Defected, Peppermint Jam, Lovejuice Records and Blockhead Recordings, Scott always brings a fresh and unique flavor to a remix. Taking the original melodies and adding his own vocal cuts he has morphed this remix into a funky but soulful rendition, lathered in his usual bouncing bass and dreamy chord progressions. Offering up glimpses of his garage roots also, this really is a class remix that will stand up for the ages.

On Heaven, Husky once again proves he's the master of vocal-led, blissful house music, this time teaming up with singer and songwriter Red London. Sitting somewhere between soulful house and classic disco, with a strutting bassline and powerfully soaring strings, Heaven is a sure-fire party starter, but its complexity proved to be quite a challenge, even for a producer as experienced as Husky.

"Heaven was the most challenging record to put together on the album.
