MELD MIX 05 - Jake Hodgkinson (Real Deal Records)

Ewan, also known as E.Alexander, is the founder of Mui Mui Records, established in 2021. This venture has been a long-time dream of mine, and I am thoroughly enjoying the experience.

I am blessed with two beautiful daughters, aged 4 and nearly 3 months. Their mother is of British-Chinese descent, and we communicate with them in both English and Cantonese. The name "Mui Mui" holds special significance for us, as it means "little girl" or "little sister" in Cantonese. It serves as a tribute to our family and the love we share.

Exciting things are on the horizon, with a plethora of amazing music set to be released very soon. Keep an eye out for MUIMUI 003, which will be available in August. Additionally, we will be commemorating our second anniversary at Star Lane Pizza Bar on August 6th. It's going to be a fantastic celebration!


Ewan has a rich history in the party scene, having organized events in both Edinburgh and London. Throughout the years, I have been fortunate to secure numerous residencies in both locations. Notably, I have had the privilege of playing guest slots at renowned venues such as fabric, Lion & Lamb, The Cause, and 93 Feet East, among many others.

My journey has taken me to incredible events and destinations. I had the opportunity to participate in Off Sonar parties several years ago, and I even experienced the unique and vibrant atmosphere of Burning Man in 2014. These experiences have shaped my musical career and have been instrumental in my growth as an artist.

Co-founder of the Kinetik Toys project, he first launched it as a YouTube channel before turning it into a collective that now lights up Marseille’s nights.

🔊 Known for keeping a low profile and rarely sharing mixes, Merlino makes this set truly special. Filled with that early-2000s vibe we hold dear, it goes droit-au-but to the spirit of the series — blending hypnotic grooves and subtle analog textures into a sun-soaked electric journey.

As every year we close our release season of 2025 with Sonidos de las Porfunidades VA.
We are back from the depths of sounds, where a lot of artists and projects reside waiting for their creations to see the light.

We still believe in supporting emerging projects, to be a platform where no matter the numbers, if you got talent you got an opportunity. This is what our VA is all about. To help this projects who have been in the depths of sounds have some more visualisation.
