It’s still uncertain who exactly is hiding behind the alias Slow Hearts (@slwhrts). Nonetheless the two musicians carry on publishing new tracks. Their song called “Condor” is the next track to be published. “We didn’t have a specific idea when we started working on it. But we knew which kind of sound we wanted. After three days we were more than happy with the result.” (...) They want to say thank you for the great support they’ve been receiving for their “Journey” (Eagles & Butterflies) remix by giving the track away for free via trndmusik.

Hey guys I'M DROPPING AN ALBUM!

A year & 3 months ago, I started my last semester of college. I realized there were so many things that I wanted to do that I knew nothing about. But instead of grinding thru text books n making study guides, I turned to my homies.

Many of my closest friends in college were obsessed with other kinds of music besides house and techno. When you're a sensitive music kid in a fratty party school, you can appreciate people who deeply care about any type of music. It just took me awhile to realize we could jam together too.
-
FANTASTIC VOYAGE (THE ALBUM!) is about exploration: stepping outside of your comfort zone and trying new things.
-
Unlike a normal album that comes out all at once on one label, this project is broken up across a few EPs on a bunch of labels that reflect how different these songs are from each other. But there's a strong underlying connection: they were all made by me and my friends and they all work in my sets in between the dirtybird bombs and techno jams that i play.

Tomorrow, the first song off the album comes out. Each week, I'll show ya a new song and tell some of the silly stories behind it. Definitely feeling a bit vulnerable with all this new stuff, so if you support my music whether it's by sharing, buying or just listening to the songs, let me know and I'll send you some bonus goodies at the end of it all.

Pete continues exploring the sound and giving emotion to his music today in form of three new tracks full of soul and heart. Trying Not To is a tight huge track that will burn the most demanding places. Master Gabriel Ananda presents an exquisite version rich in details and getting a fantastic balance between deep and tech. We knew he is a quality stamp. 

Graphium follows the futuristic and tasteful line of Electronic Music. Sinister and dark voices for a devastating effect on the dancefloor. Me My Molly shows Pete’s more elegant stuff. He goes a bit deeper with sensual melodies but for sure also a great pick of the night. But, as Pete says, let the music speak by itself.

The original track starts off with lovely reverberated underwater bells which slowly but surely evolves into a proper end of summer tribute. Soft & intriguing arpeggios evolve alongside the ever changing baseline. Certain to sooth both on the dance floor & the poolside. 

Next up is Mario Aureo’s remix. A dubbed out version for the early morning. Hypnotic & driving. Mario takes great use of the originals melodic elements and adds a more steady foundation to the beat. Blissful & Atmospheric vibes. 

Last man on the lineup is no other than Rasmus Leman, working his magic under his Nandu Moniker. Dusty & stripped down to the bare essentials.. Nandu makes great room for the vocal and adds a super funky baseline to go with the shuffled shakers & the small synth lines that appear ever so playful throughout the track.

The next instalment on Afterlife comes from Vaal with remixes by Locked Groove and Baikal. ’Wander To Hell’ is a three track EP, with three versions of the same track that each encapsulate the spirit of Afterlife in their own individual way.

Heralding from a rock n’roll and jazz background Vaal is unperturbed by the strict rules that define & guard electronic music. ‘Wander To Hell’ is stripped back and gentle, highlighting the emotive side of the label. The combination of alluring vocals and beautiful reverberating chords along with the ebb and flow of distortion makes it a composition that grips the listener from start to finish.
Belgian talent Locked Groove seeks the dancefloor with his remix. He brings back a little familiarity, the vocal remains, but is now present amongst an assortment of synths and percussion, pushing through to darker, heavier depths.
