Over the past few months, we've been involved in various projects, which has made it challenging to maintain the consistency of our podcast as we had planned. In light of this, two of our residents have prepared a special after-hours set following one of the biggest events we've participated til today: DEMORAVE Hamburg. 31.08.24

Maxi Kreeft is a deep minimal house DJ and producer who has steadily built his presence within Hamburg's underground electronic scene. Known for his hypnotic, immersive sets, Maxi explores the subtleties of deep, groove-driven beats and stripped-back rhythms, creating an atmosphere that resonates with true minimal house enthusiasts. His sound draws inspiration from the likes of Oliver Schoris and Janeret, mixing organic textures with carefully crafted basslines to provide an intimate, meditative experience on the dancefloor.

Born and raised in Hamburg, Maxi’s connection to the city’s vibrant electronic music scene has been central to his growth as an artist. Regular performances at local venues such as Waagenbau and Beat Boutique have cemented his reputation as a selector with an ear for the underground.

Maxi is also deeply passionate about curating events that emphasize the essence of deep house and minimal music. His monthly residency at Solid Beats offers intimate settings where he can explore long, evolving sets and introduce his audience to the forefront of minimal sounds.

Now, with a growing following and several upcoming releases, Maxi Kreeft is poised to carve out a place in the European minimal house scene, with plans to perform internationally and release music that represents the core of deep, rhythmic minimalism.
