Project Pablo - It's Not The Dream (Club Lonely Remix)

Milan based collective Just This are proud to present the 'Absolute Infinity EP', a joint release from Netherlands-based producers Sinfol and Octual. Featured in this package are two remixes from Gerd Janson prescribing a heavy dose of acid. Title track is a stripped back groove with a looping synth lead that wanders through ricocheting drums. For his first remix Gerd muffles the framework of the original, making room for a floating melody and warm lead, whilst the 'Acid Only' version takes the components of the original and throws them into a bath full of acid. Closing off the EP is 'Wire', a moody dancefloor cut for the after-hours.

There was a strange flash which appeared in the mist up above as the night sky burnt a fragrant orange glow in the heat of the morning. It were as if some vast, sprawling supervoid had opened up to cause doom and disgrace to humanity which lived down below. A beast had awoken in the sky and there was a mysterious sense of warmth which hung with ominous presence in the air. This might be what hell felt like to those stuck beneath but whilst lost in this beautiful dream he was in heaven...

The Helsinki-based producer, while only recently emerged under the alias @djlifegoals, has a long history with electronic music having started collecting records at the age of 13 under the guidance of a local DJ. The vast range of influences is heard in DJ Lifegoal's music, that while paying homage to his 90’s house, breakbeat and acid favourites, is constantly surprising listeners with explorations to unsailed seas. Characteristic to DJ Lifegoal’s music is the fine balance between euphoric eruptions of rave-ready moments and more subtle, progressive elements.
