I had this song posted earlier.  It was recorded live in one take with Phil playing banjo, and I really liked it.  As I listened to it I kept hearing backing vocals so I went back and added some.

It had been a long time since I recorded a song with my kids (17 and almost 13), when my friend Joe Little asked if I had anything I wanted to record I figured it was a chance I couldn't pass up. Since my younger son is a rising 8th grader and my oldest is a senior who hasn't been in band since freshman year, I thought the time was right. So I picked a song I wrote almost 20 years ago and they gave a couple hours this summer. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Written in early 2016, this song started with a chord progression I have used in two previous songs, but when I messed around and tuned the guitar down 2 full steps I heard other things. I also like that I wrote this song after being inspired by an article I read about agoraphobia, making it one of the few songs I have written that literally has nothing to do with me. Unfortunately, I feel,  it is destined to remain in this quickly recorded demo form. Although time has probably passed it by, at least it wasn't totally lost.

How I Feel (DEMO)

I'm just a self taught guitarist that loves to write and record songs as a hobby.  This site has a lot of my old songs (most originals)retrieved from old cassettes and saved for posterity (which explains the omnipresent tape hiss on the older stuff).  All my recent stuff I released as Blind Squirrel which is with the guys I play with. (My band?)
