Some time ago I asked Donato to compile the “Rome” edition of the 200th podcast for electronique.it.

His response to this challenge is a techno mix that I can best describe as an intense, intimate and evocative portrait of the reality that is Rome. While drawing on a wide range of source material and inspiration from the past, he constructs a deeply personal mix that is directed towards the future. It is, in a word, epic!

Having spent few years deeply rooted within a niche techno genre as multiple label owner, the artist decided to focus on his own personal expression without any limitations from labels, different opinions and long waiting times for music to be released.

Born in Amsterdam, “Hütte Collective” is an electronic music collective, association, and event organizer. Every summer It holds a yearly musical gathering in the forest called “Hütte”.
