This song is about leaving the City, expressed by episodes on the Underground and the railway.  The music has its genesis in Lampeter days (think it was called 'Nashville Bird' then but that was just me fooling with words and my limited Razzi vocabulary).  It was not completed for the Razzis and unusually for me (at least for that time), the main lyrics followed the music.  The perfect Underground tune has to be Simon Warner's 'Ticket Collector', which I played on my Walkman everyday going to the British Language School on the Metro in Madrid but that is another story...  (1992; incorporating elements from 1995 & 1998).
