Lost In The Quagmire

This is a mix honoring one of the greatest prophets of the 20th century, who's work rings more true today than it ever did in his lifetime.

In 1932 the English author Aldous Huxley published the book "A Brave New World" where he depicts a futuristic world of dystopia where societies individuals are continuously being kept in a docile state through a soothing happiness inducing drug called Soma. Huxley describes a world state where individual freedom is all but completely forgotten in favor of a pain-free life of conformity. And where the powers at be deploy tools like  sleep-learning, psychological manipulation and classical conditioning  to maintain their power.

The novel is often compared to George Orwell's "1984" since they both depict a futuristic dystopian surveillance society where freedom is sacrificed for the notion of safety and comfort. 

In 2021, almost 90 years after Huxley first wrote his fictional novel, his dystopian world of fiction seems closer to reality than ever.

Brave New World

This one is for my dear friends who like to float into the Infinite sea of tranquility. 

A bit of practical info for you floaters who wish to use this one in the tank: 

- If you want to get out of the tank at 90 minutes, you can do so when the fat lady has voiced her final tone at the end of the set. You will understand when you get there.  

The set will continue a bit more actively after that while you get your shower and all that good jazz.
