these are the days

A tune I wrote a few weeks ago, it had programmed drums in it originally and today I recorded some acoustic drums, just using two mics, 1 in the kick and 1 pencil condenser. I just did one take as well and liked what was going on there, so I kept it. Enjoy!!

I originally wrote this for my girlfriend for this video here: http://youtu.be/qmGATMzQtC8, I then later expanded on the idea a bit and recorded some acoustic drums for it, again I just used two mic's. One in the kick and one for the snare, I also used a ZOOM h1 kind of as an overhead, picking up the cymbals and toms.

A re-upload of a track that I had up here a while ago, I redid it somewhat, changed out the intro a little, recorded some live drums for it. I think it's a a bit more groovy than the original version was :)

I wrote this in Germany a few months ago but never got round to finishing it. So I now I reworked it a little, changed the drums out for Addictive Drums and here it is. Bear in mind, I did all the mixing and such on headphones. Enjoy!

Moving Over

I wrote this track when I was in Cape Town, waiting for my German VISA application to come through. I used a super beat-up old Yamaha acoustic guitar and a cheap condenser Mic set up in my buddies lounge.
