Humans VS Robots is a collection of (three) handcrafted, human-curated, frequently updated playlists of brand new music.

We are perfectly aware of the the tons of music discovery apps out there. For the most part, they can automatically generate playlists built around your tastes - you just have to provide a handful of bands you already like. Sometimes (and this is even worse) they generate a playlist around your friends' tastes (and we don't know about you, but most of our friends simply have no taste at all).

Those computer-driven playlists are made to please you. 
They are made to make you feel safe with what you already know.
For the most part, they are not challenging you to discover something really new. They give you always the same piece of s*@§.

That's why we built Humans VS Robots: we do think that music discovery might be challenging. 
It’s not about what you already like: it’s about what you’ll be surprised to enjoy, but you don’t know yet.

So, HVSR is definitely not built around your tastes.

It’s built around ours.
