Despite I make a huge part of production/electronics there, I decided to remix our new track to support this release. This track is a remix of the original "Naked Ways" by Freska and Tot Gabrielle. It features a blend of electronic and doom metal influences, with a hint of goth pop. «I preserved the form of the song trying to create some new iteration of this tune. The result is photo filtered but in the context of music. When the core of the song remains the same but the form mutates significantly, you go through the brand new perception».

Nobi_4 is our good old pal since 2013. Yaeh, this guy mastered our mixtape «Spiritual Ties» and dozen of tracks we’ve released via STYLSS. 

«My approach on «black sands» is from a darker and more minimalistic perspective…I tried to bring the elements of desperation and anger up on surfaceand the result is this dark, mystagogue-ish bass yet pop and emotional remix. I hope you enjoy!»

Next producer is Mode7 from Portland OR. Mode7 is the musical alias of Sean D. Bailey. He released his music at Meganeko, STYLSS & bunch of other labels. 

«It’s always tricky doing a remix of a track I really love, because I want to do the original justice while also offering a fresh take on it. I wanted this to have a big, grimy feel to it, to sort of keep up with the intensity of the source material. This remix is probably the closest I’ve come to producing something that sounds exactly how I hear it in my mind».

(((O))) aka Skaen (Gomel, BEL) - an alter-ego of producer Nikita Vasiliev, launched in 2011. A moniker means 4 magic circles. The genre can be characterized as witchhouse focused on melodies and soothing atmosphere. Nikita earned respects from Peter Jenner (former Pink Floyd Manager) & released an album on legendary Phantasma Disques label. 

«In my opinion musical form is way less important than it’s message. If you preserve key elements the core of any song always stays the same. Even if you change timbres & instruments. 

Actually that’s what I was trying to do with my remix. I emphasized the vocal line and highlighted the message of lyrics by means of my new arrangement for this track».

Next producer is a 24 year old dude Sigrah from Kansas City, MO. 

As an active affiliate of world wide super-collective, STYLSS, he will be joining up with NASTY NASTY, and STYLSS Staple ONHELL for his first US tour in January 2017. 

«I was absolutely thrilled when Haárps asked me to remix this song off the EP. I decided to take it a bit of a darker direction with a crawling low end, spaced out synths, and big sounding hip hop drums. I had an absolute blast doing this one!»

Haárps is a producer and singer known for his dark and atmospheric sound. The project, which began in 2012, has been heavily influenced by gothic and witch house music. After dismissing his previous witch house project in 2012, Haárps released his first two EPs "Mosses & Lichens" and "Towards the Sinister." In 2014, "Spiritual Ties" has been released on Portland-based imprint STYLSS, showcasing a more atmospheric approach. Throughout the years, Haarps has performed live, often joining forces with a second synth player and experimenting with various live musicians on stage. The last release was "Open Ground EP" on #Internetghetto in 2017. Haárps is set to make a comeback in 2023 with their unique blend of doom metal and electronic elements.
