My overarching theme for this challenge is "Reasons to keep going in the face of adversity" and it's about the motivations of video game heroes and heroines. Why are they on the adventure they chose? What makes them continue on their path even when facing difficulties? Each week, starting with A in the first week and ending with Z in the last week, I pick a word starting with the corresponding letter (such as A for Atonement etc.), find some video game music that I associate with it, and try make a cover of that track. Sometimes there will be full songs! Sometimes there will only be a sketch of a song! My main motivation is to see what I can get done in a week and build a small collection of 26 covers, no matter how good or bad they are.
