Kambarang is upon the Boorloo region - a season of rebirth. It's therefore pretty bloody fitting that this week's Shell Tape comes from Perth-via-Sydney-via-Perth selector @djmintox, one of the newest additions to the Crab Claw family.

The change in season brings with it fairer weather, pints under tress, day dreams of simpler times and wonky sun soaked dances - free from worry or concern. In just under an hour, Mintox captures this cheerfully lopsided and wonderfully timeless vibe, burner pair of sunnies from the day before included.

Chuggy leftfield house, weirdo bass experiments and Australiana flavoured neo-trance don't even rub shoulders on this tape; they seamlessly blend together to become a dusty, sweaty, out of this world mass of dance floor driving sonics. Gather your wits and prepare to promptly to lose them - Mintox is taking us on a journey to a futuristic bush doof where mimosas flow as freely as water.

Shell Tape 32 - Mintox -"Heads Down, Eyes Wide"

Bringing the heat this week is none other than Djane par excellence Lokier. Originally starting out in Mexico, Lokier has relocated to Berlin and has already found a footing in the techno capital, taking up a residency at the newly founded Revier Südost (formerly Griessmühle). Elements of EBM, Trance and New Wave can regularly be heard in her sets, which have taken her across Europe, Asia as well as North and South America. Her proficiency behind the decks is matched with a talent for producing, with tracks of hers being released on esteemed labels such as Pinkman and even a Soft Moon remix on Aufnahme + Wiedergabe. Lokier recently created LightStrike as a platform for her own productions as well. This set is characterized by thundering industrial kicks, paired with ravey stabs and dark vocals, creating an intense rave atmosphere. Enjoy!
