Creating this track was a challenging but rewarding experience for me. The rules were simple: create a piece of work using ONLY the items provided - with the exception of personal recordings. Every day for 30 days, The Warp Academy and Black Octopus Sound supplied a new pack of samples, presets or processing effects which I could experiment with freely. It was frustrating at first, being limited to only a certain set of sounds to play with. But, after a few days of grunting and cursing I accepted that being limited was actually a good thing! This forced me to push myself creatively and try new techniques that I may have not otherwise thought to put into play. I had to step outside my comfort zone and allow new habits to break down some old habits. 

In retrospect, I should have worked on the dynamic range and fullness of the track, so the bass hits more and the mid-range does not drown everything else out. But, these are things to improve moving forward and I think it is important to critique yourself. This record helped me learn some weaknesses and I find that invaluable.

TL;DR -> Push yourself, try new things, evaluate and improve yourself.
