Joyce Lim takes over the Lot for one hour of experimental music on the weirder side. Joyce Lim runs 1432 R, a label thats developed a cult like following since it's debut in 2014. Joyce Lim co-runs the party Dance Club, which has become known for a dedicated ethos towards creating a safe space for the LGBTQ+ BIPOC+ community. Joyce Lim also runs Extended Family, a DJ mix series designed to showcase the talent within the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area. The series has published 64 mixes since it's inception in 2015. Joyce Lim is an open format DJ, prepare to be pushed and pulled.

Yet bittersweet and desperate. 
The chimerical metamorphosis missed just a little.

The voice of hope was weak and subordinate,
But still, it whispered.
Pleasure and pain were only a breath apart.

Candles have been burned while the song faded.
And while feelings lingered in a morning fog 
A new day was rising over the horizon.

Brooklyn-based DJ threehz brings a deep and dreamy perspective to an often-aggressive techno landscape, with a focus on textured, spiraling, playful psychedelia to appeal to both mind and body.
This mix pulls from a pretty wide range of genres and influences and includes a number of their long time favorites alongside more contemporary selections.  Rather than the typical linear arc, they tried to have the energy of this mix flow in a more push/pull kind of way, and to arrive somewhere different than where we started.

We are a queer-run and centered boutique collective based in New York. Navigating multiple spaces allows us to be hybrid, paying close attention to gender balance in electronic music industry where females, non-binary, and trans people are still widely underrepresented. 

Leaning on electro, bass , experimental, and polyrhythmic techno, we center our activity to a particular sonic experience for reflection, letting people go inwards to notice subtler frequencies, and creating a breathing room for a much needed transformation.
