Dave Fry’s latest folk album Troubadour is a polished and mature collection of Dave’s current repertoire, featuring blues, old-school country, folk rock, Celtic as well as original songwriting and Americana styles. Recorded at Hybrid Studios in Nazareth, PA, Dave has incorporated the talents of the finest regional musicians to present a surprisingly rich sound: Craig Thatcher, Mike Dugan, Kevin Soffera, The Girls from Mars, Dan DeChellis, Nyke Van Wyk, Rob Stoneback, Kjell Benner and others. The instrumentation includes: mandolin, banjo, uilleann pipes and Irish whistle and flute, bohdran, piano and organ, banjo, mandolin, harmonica, electric and acoustic guitars, percussion, drums and bass. Along with Dave’s original music, other songwriters include Pete Seeger, John Gorka, David Mallett, Tommy Sands and Stan Rogers.
