Aquí no hay relleno: estructura compacta (poco más de tres minutos), golpes claros, un motivo vocal que funciona como eslogan y transiciones limpias para el DJ que busca empuje sin sobreactuar. La mezcla privilegia la pegada y la inteligibilidad: entra, afirma y se va, dejando ese “no conmigo” resonando como mantra utilísimo en peak-time o en radio edit. La intención es transparente y efectiva.

Our next release is another debut EP - this time from the talented up and coming producer Witchdoctor. The first track, ‘Trippin’, starts with glitched sound effects and flashes of tech-ier house that give way to shuffling 4x4 drums and some serious low end on a track that wouldn’t sound out of place on the mighty Night Bass. Following that is ‘Like You’; a dark and moody Bass House stomper focused around brooding pads and in-your-face basslines. Rounding the EP off is the title track, where Witchdoctor returns to his UKG roots with chord stabs, chopped vocals, overlaying melodies and an effortless switch from 2step into 4x4.

Hybrid Theory are a DJ and Production duo from the cultural hub of the midlands, Birmingham. They have been blazing the UK Bass scene in style since they started now infamous Four40 imprint in 2010.

These guys have taken the UKBass scene by storm with their duty ghost warps, snappy saw’s and the heavy broken beat patten is the winning combination for these guys.

For the Hybrid boys appearances on Diplo's Mad Decent and Norman Cook's Southern Fried Records followed cementing their foothold in the scene as tastemakers in high demand. The guys were most notable so far seeing the release of their much anticipated EP on Champion's genre-bending Formula Records. In 2015 brand new releases will drop first on Jakwob's Boomting Recordings, These guys have a foothold in the music seen now collaborating with some of the top artists in the world. The collaboration with Stanton Warriors had a huge effect on the American breaks music scene, witch lead the guy’s to a 5 state American tour from LA to New York. Not to mention traveling across Europe, to destinations like Germany, Sweeden, Amsterdam, Belguim, Italy, plus many more.

If this kind of output wasn't enough Hybrid have been working tirelessly on preparations for a host of Guest-mixes for BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra following enthusiastic support on the BBC, RINSE FM and KISS, from the likes of Monki, DJ Target, MistaJam, Sian Anderson, Annie Nightingale, TODDLA-T and more (Not to mention other scene heavyweights like DIPLO, ETON MESSY, DJ EZ and ONEMAN)
